Kids make a difference—one cup at a time!
Together, our community lemonade stands raised over $3,000 in 2025 in support our rescue efforts, and we’d love your help to raise even more this year.
Whether you live in Wethersfield or one of the surrounding towns, we invite you and your kiddos to participate in our 2nd Annual "Lemonade Stand" Fundraiser, where we invite kids ages 6-12 to help raise funds for our non-profit cat rescue, all while enjoying the great outdoors and spreading the word about Connecticut's community cat crisis and our rescue efforts.
So, let’s squeeze every drop of kindness out of this summer—join the fun and make a difference for cats in need!
Register by June 17th
In order to participate and become eligible for the end of summer "Kitten Kuddle", each family will need to register their Lemonade Stand via the below link. Each Lemonade Stand will require a sponsoring adult who will oversee the children's activities, personal safety and the collection of donations.
Each household will be limited to three participants, who's ages range from 6-12 years old.
To ensure donation tallies are completed in a timely fashion, final donation checks must be received by OW Kitten Rescue no later than August 24th.
Winners to be announced August 25th!
Pick-up June 20th
To support your fundraising efforts, our team of volunteers have put together Lemonade Stand Kits, which include all the basics to kick off your fundraising efforts.
Kits include Country Time Lemonade, 25 plastic cups, "OW Kitten Rescue" stickers, helpful hints on running your stand, information on our rescue along with a QR Code to facilitate electronic payments as well as a yellow "OW Kitten Rescue" T-shirt* for up to 3 youth participants along with an "OW Kitten Rescue" Canvas Bag for the adult sponsor to enjoy!
Registered Families can pick up "kits" Saturday, June 20th at Soushine Yoga, 163 Main Street, Old Wethersfield, CT.
*Additional t-shirts may be purchased for $20 each.
Win a "Kitten Kuddle"
The top three Lemonade Stands that raise the most money between June 27th and August 16th will be selected to participate in a "Kitten Kuddle" held at Soushine Yoga Studio, 163 Main Street, Old Wethersfield, CT.

Youth Participants must be at least 6 years old.
Parent/Guardians will be required to sign waiver prior to child's participation in event.
